Deuteronomy 6:5-9 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
Worship is not just for Church services and campfire sing-a-longs. Worship is a way of life. We need to be so in love with God that He permeates everything we do. He receives the credit when our work is done with excellence. He receives glory when our joy and blessings overflow. He is our trusted friend when loneliness overcomes. He is our protector when fears and hardship creep in our lives. When these actions are lived out, all will know, even for generations to come, who God is and why they should know Him.
Holy God, I am so unworthy to even bow before You, but You want to be a part of my most mundane tasks. I don’t understand that, but I revel in it! Thank You for loving me! Amen
