Psalm 147:10-11 He's not impressed with horsepower; the size of our muscles means little to him. Those who fear God get God's attention; they can depend on his strength.
Too often it seems we try to impress God by what we do. There is certainly nothing wrong with honoring God through our works. However, it’s the attitude by which we do what we do that determines whether God gets the glory or we seek it for ourselves. Admitting that we can do nothing without His strength and support is the first step. When we acknowledge our dependence on God, He multiplies our strengths and abilities to accomplish things we could never achieve or complete. Through our weakness, we show His strength!
Father, Without You I am miniscule and insignificant. Thank You for allowing Your strength to be shown through my weakness – give me more of Your strength! I love You! Amen
