Proverbs 21:3 To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
Doing the right thing in a situation is not always the easy thing. We can’t worship our way out of it. We can give enough money to avoid it. Whether it’s taking a bold step of faith, or humbling yourself to someone who never chooses to do the right thing, listening to God’s calling is imperative. How we react in difficult situations says a lot about who we are in Christ. Your choice to do the right thing when it makes no sense to those around you may be the introduction to Christ they need. Your willingness to stand strong in the faith despite adversity will be an encouragement to those ready to give up. Remember the words God said over and over to Joshua, “Be strong and courageous!” Doing the right thing can be scary, painful, or just plain not fair – but it’s rewards and peace it brings make the sacrifice worth it.
Father, Please guide my heart to lead me in Your right ways. Give me wisdom to discern the right path, and the strength and courage to walk it and make You smile. I love You! Amen
